Construction of the Airport of Skiathos

The budget of the construstion project of the new runway at the airport of Skiathos is 18.5 million and it was awarded to Tyrnavos Quarries S.A.
The award decision of the project "Skiathos airport (apron extension & new taxiway)" was signed by the Deputy Minister of Development, St. Kalogianni. This work includes the extension of the aircrafts' parking floor, the reconstruction of the existing connector taxiway and the construction of a new runway.
Individual project includes the expansion of floor parking, rebuilding the existing connector taxiway and build new runway length of 140 m, extending the runway to the north by 110 meters and the construction of lateral road 530 meters The draft contract was sent to the Court for pre-contractual control, while the project is part of the Operational Program "Improvement of Accessibility".
